Hey, sis!

In moments like these, we recognize the need to pause, to honor the weight of what we carry, and to give ourselves the grace to grieve and gather strength once more. Last Tuesday was a reminder of the uphill journey we walk, and like so many of you, we felt the impact deeply. But in that stillness, we remembered why BLK in Bloom exists—why we created this space that grows stronger with every heart that joins.

BLK in Bloom was born to be more than a community. We founded it so you would always have a place to turn, a circle of support where you feel uplifted, seen, and understood. We wanted a place where you could increase your wealth—not just in coins but in knowledge, connections, and self-love. We wanted a space where you would know that your dreams are valid, your ambitions are celebrated, and your presence matters.

As three Black women who felt something missing when we came to this city, we built this collective with a shared vision—a vision that has only become more urgent. BLK in Bloom is a testament to our resilience and the power of connection. It’s a space that does not fade with election results or setbacks; instead, it flourishes with every voice, every story, and every bond formed within it.

So, to the Black women of Charlotte, if you’re searching for a place to feel heard, seen, and valued, a space where you are welcomed with open arms, BLK in Bloom is here for you. Together, we rise, nurture, and blossom. We’re here, and we’re in this together, for you, with you—now and always.

With all my love,
Alexia
