Let’s go back to one hell of a Thursday night, August 24. Imagine around 75 people coming together at Weathered Souls – yep, that Black-owned spot we all love – for a celebration that wasn’t just about partying but about lifting each other up. The event, a series named Girls Love Happy Hour, was hosted by co-founders Alexia, Brandi, and Ka’Ress. Oh, and guess what? It was also the launch party for BLK in Bloom!

Sip and Celebrate: A Night of Connection

So picture this: laughter echoing, stories being shared, and dreams flying free. That’s what went down at Girls Love Happy Hour. You know, it’s not every day you get to be part of something that’s more than just a party, but a whole movement. The event marked the beginning of BLK in Bloom’s journey – a mission to cultivate a strong community of Black women focused on meaningful connections, financial empowerment, and community contribution.

Empowering Dreams, One Toast at a Time

Faced with numerous challenges, it’s hard to ignore that the odds are often stacked against Black women. However, we refuse to let circumstances define our path. Our determination will lead us to achieve success in personal endeavors, but this journey is not just our own. Witnessing the untapped potential of countless Black women in our community, we felt a calling to create opportunities for financial growth and prosperity. We believe that by providing the right support and resources, Black women can thrive and achieve greatness.

Champagne and Conversations: Casual Chic

Let’s talk about the vibe – casual yet chic. BLK in Bloom made sure we had the finest food and champagne to keep our energy high and our conversations even higher. But it wasn’t just about sipping; games had us cracking up, dance moves set us free, and giveaways brought the hype.
